This summer, our family has been invited to serve with The Glory Project in Chiang Mai, Thailand from July 10 to August 10, 2025. We are thrilled and humbled by this opportunity—but we need your help to make it possible!

🛫 Why We're Going

Our heart is to share the love of Jesus, serve those in need, and help shine light in some of the darkest places. This mission will involve hands-on work with vulnerable communities near the Thailand-Myanmar border, where human trafficking and exploitation are heartbreaking realities.

We'll be working alongside local leaders to minister in village communities and a local orphanage, where children are being rescued from heartbreaking circumstances and offered hope and a future. We’ll also participate in a vision trip to help reopen a medical center that shut down during the pandemic, and assist in laying the groundwork for future outreach along the Thailand–Myanmar border, a region heavily impacted by poverty, displacement, and exploitation.

One of our greatest joys will be supporting local church leaders, to equip indigenous believers with practical resources and spiritual encouragement to continue transforming their communities from the inside out.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Who We Are

We’re the Hughes Family—Dan, Jessica, Maxton (14), Owen (11), and twins Cole & Cade (9). We’ve been following Jesus for over 20 years and have served in various ministry roles, including worship, small group leadership, and church security.

Dan recently retired after 22 years in the military, 19 of those in Special Forces. His career took him around the world, and now, we sense God calling us into a new kind of mission—one we get to step into together as a family.

This isn’t just a trip for us—it’s a step of obedience. A chance to pour out what God has poured into us.

💵 What We Need

We are raising $24,000 to cover the full cost for our family of six:

• Flights for 6

• Visas, immunizations, and travel insurance

• Housing, meals, and in-country travel

• Ministry-related expenses and supplies
