“Two Boats. Four Missionaries. Multiplying the Gospel Across 800 Islands.” 

The Moken people live across more than 800 islands in the Andaman Sea—remote, beautiful, and almost entirely unreached with the gospel. Most villages have never heard the name of Jesus. We believe they are worth it. Worth the cost, worth the effort, worth sending disciples so they too can know the Good News of the gospel. 

At Glory Project, our vision is bold: a church in every village. This 3-year initiative (2026–2029) will send missionaries, equip leaders, and plant multiplying churches across the islands.

 

The Opportunity: We Need Your Help 

• Partner Church (Nyaung Mine Big Island): A small church of five families already gathers faithfully, ready to multiply the gospel. 

• Missionaries on the Ground: Two missionaries are already serving—discipling believers and laying the foundation for a new network of churches. 

• Training in Yangon: Three young Moken believers are in our discipleship school, preparing to return as missionaries to their own people. 

• Missionaries Sent: With your help, four native missionaries will be sent and sustained for the next three years. (3-year support: $29,000) 

• Boats for the Gospel: Two boats are essential to reach scattered islands, carrying missionaries, supplies, and the gospel. (2 boats @ $8,000 each) 

Focus Islands (2025–2028) 

• Nyaung Mine (Main Island): Build a house church, train a local pastor, and strengthen the existing 5 families. 

• Ale Hman & Zadet Kyi: Expand relationships and plant churches within 12 months. 

• Kalar Aw: Gather people of peace and 20+ Christian families into a strong, multiplying church. 

• New Islands: Prayer walk, share the gospel, and lay the groundwork for future churches.

• Missionary support (4 missionaries): $29,000 

• Two boats for travel: $16,000 

• Hope Project video in Moken language: $1,000 

• Training, discipleship, building, and field visits: $27,000
