Nora says, “I've been interested in missions for a long time. Ever since I read the story of Gladys Alward, who was a missionary to China, I've wanted to be a missionary in Asia. If I raise enough money, I will get to go on a mission trip to Thailand. While we are there we will spend time with the children from an orphanage, share the Gospel in local villages, run Vacation Bible Schools, and do whatever else God has in store for us. I am very excited to go on this mission trip to share the Gospel with the people of Thailand.

Elsie says, “I am going to Thailand in July of this year on a mission trip with the Glory Project, and I am looking forward to it. The Lord has forgiven my sins and through that He has shown me his love. There are so many though that are still lost in their sins and need to hear about Jesus Christ and his love and forgiveness. I hope that on this mission trip, through the Vacation Bible Schools we run, I may be able to share Jesus with kids, or that I may be able to show the love of God to the orphanage by serving there or by spending time with the kids there. I am looking forward to serving Jesus Christ in whatever I end up doing in Thailand. I am hoping and praying that God will shine the light of His love through me on this mission trip.”

The girls must each raise $3,500 for this trip to cover travel and in-country costs. Additional funds raised beyond this may be used to help off-set the cost of necessary vaccines for travel.
